About the Studio

The Château Roşu is a private recording and vocal development studio in Los Angeles .
The studio contains both vintage and state of the art equipment for the composition, recording and production of original music. We have experience with music composition in multiple genres, orchestration, voice over production, scoring to picture, sound design and video game audio. Singers develop under the tutelage of our in-house vocal developer where they can sing live over a public address system or record. The sound of the studio is HELIOS. HELIOS modules were used in the Rolling Stones Mobile truck in the 1970s to record some of the most commercially successful music ever produced on location. In this era, bands would rent out Châteaux and Hotels that were closed for the off season, and using the mobile, have an instant recording studio that felt personal to them, as opposed to the clinical feeling of many commercial studios. Château Roşu aims to recreate and preserve this magic period in music recording history, all in a professional and intimate setting, perfect for singer/songwriters, vocalists, guitar players, solo instrumentalists, duos and composers. We do not record full bands at the studio. All drums are programmed unless you wish to bring drum tracks recorded in another studio. |
Location and Amenities

The Studio is located nearby the major entertainment studios of Los Angeles, not far from Hollywood. There is ample free on street and off street parking available. The neighborhood is very safe and is easily reached by car or car services like Uber.

Hours of Operation
|
The studio can be booked for any day of the week, except major holidays. General hours of operation run from 10am to 10pm with breaks for lunch and dinner. Special projects can exceed these hours if needed.
